and\/or imports and subsequently places on the Greek market products that fall under Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE), and is legally required to participate in an Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO), as well as to register in the National Producer Registry (NPR) of the Hellenic Recycling Agency (HRA).<\/p><p>More specifically, according to Joint Ministerial Decision 23615\/651\/E.103\/2014, an &#8220;obligated producer&#8221; or simply &#8220;producer&#8221; is defined as:<\/p><p>\u201cAny natural or legal person, regardless of the sales technique used\u2014including distance selling, as defined in Article 2(1) of Ministerial Decision Z1-496\/2000 (\u2018Distance Selling \u2013 Comparative Advertising \u2013 Adaptation of Law 2251\/1994&#8230; to Directive 97\/7\/EC&#8230; etc.\u2019 Government Gazette B\u2019 1545)\u2014which:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2e7a642 elementor-align-start elementor-icon-list--layout-traditional elementor-list-item-link-full_width elementor-widget elementor-widget-icon-list\" data-id=\"2e7a642\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"icon-list.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul class=\"elementor-icon-list-items\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"flaticon flaticon-next\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">Is established in the country and manufactures EEE under its own name or trademark or commissions the design or manufacture of EEE, which it places on the market under its own name or trademark within Greek territory;<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"flaticon flaticon-next\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">Is established in the country and resells within Greek territory, under its own name or trademark, equipment produced by other suppliers\u2014unless the producer's brand is indicated on the equipment, in which case the reseller is not considered a producer as per point i);<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"flaticon flaticon-next\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">Is established in the country and places EEE on the market professionally, imported from a third country or another EU member state; or<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<li class=\"elementor-icon-list-item\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-icon\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<i aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"flaticon flaticon-next\"><\/i>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-icon-list-text\">Sells EEE in the country via distance selling directly to private households or to users other than private households, and is established in another EU member state or a third country.<\/span>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/li>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5929d56 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5929d56\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Any entity that exclusively provides financing under or through a financing agreement is not considered a \u201cproducer,\u201d unless it also acts as a producer under points i) to
